Questions people actually ask
The short version: one code, one person, one chance to say yes.
What is QRush?
QRush is a dating page only one person can see. You build a page with your photos, a short intro and a note written for one specific person, then hand them a QR code. They scan it, read the page, and decide whether to reply. There is no swiping, no algorithm and no public profile.
How does a QRush code work?
Each code opens exactly once, on the first phone that scans it. From that moment the page belongs to that phone — nobody else can open the same code. The person who scanned it has 7 days to reply. If they start a conversation, the chat stays open as long as you both want it.
Does the person who scans it need an account?
No. They never sign up, never give an email address and never share a phone number. They pick any name for the chat, or none at all. That is the whole point: the person receiving the card takes on no obligation and no exposure.
What if they don't want to reply?
Every page has a graceful pass — a kind, pre-written 'no thanks' they can send in one tap without writing anything. If they simply close the page and never come back, you only ever learn that the code was opened. You are never told who they are.
How much does QRush cost?
You get two single-use codes free when you sign up. After that it's a one-time payment of $9.99 USD for unlimited codes forever — not a subscription. Printed cards on thick stock are sold separately and shipped in Canada and the US.
Can I use QRush without printing anything?
Yes. Your code is also a short link you can write on a napkin, text to someone, or send as an image. The printed cards just make the moment feel deliberate rather than improvised.
Is QRush anonymous?
For the person who scans, completely — no account, no email, no number. For the person who made the page, your contact details stay hidden until you choose to reveal them inside a chat you agreed to have.
What happens if I scan my own code?
The code is spent. Codes open once and there are no resets, so don't test a code you intend to hand out. Use the preview inside the app instead — it shows exactly what they will see without burning the code.
Do I have to hand the card over in person?
No, but keep it to one person you actually crossed paths with — handed over, passed on by a bartender, or left where only they will find it. What is not allowed is distributing codes at scale, targeting someone you never encountered, or following anyone to work out where they park. One card, one person, one shot.
Is there an age limit?
Yes. QRush is for adults only — 18 and over, on both sides.
What if someone misuses a code?
Every page has a report link, and every chat has a block button that ends the conversation permanently and flags the page for review. Reported pages are reviewed by a human and can be removed entirely.
